The truth about how I’m really able to pursue my passion

The truth about how I’m really able to pursue my passion

After a coaching call with one of my clients recently, we started chatting about how I became a prosperity coach.

“How did you get the confidence to get started?” My client asked. “Weren’t you scared?”

“Definitely!” I told her. “I was terrified. And I wouldn’t have been able to do it if it weren’t for one thing …”

“Did you win the lottery?” My client guessed.

“Nope.”

“Inherit a fortune from a distant relative?”

“Nope.”

“Catch the attention of Tony Stark?”

I laughed. “No, the truth is that …

My friends are the reason I’m here with you today.”

I’m a fairly self-confident person. And most of the time, I know what I want and I’m able to cross-check it against my values to ensure that I’m living in alignment with my true purpose in life.

This is the foundation of my coaching philosophy too:

Find what you love and live in alignment with your true desires.

Which means I don’t ever doubt myself, right?

Um. Wrong!

I believe everybody has moments of self-doubt. Days, and even weeks, when you worry that you aren’t able to truly achieve what you want to achieve.

When your dreams feel a little too big and you wonder if you’re ever going to make it.

If this is you right now, then I have one simple piece of advice for you:

Surround yourself with friends that wholeheartedly believe in what you do.

I’m very lucky to be part of a beautiful community of women that cheerlead and support all of my (sometimes crazy) dreams and adventures.

When my dreams feel uncomfortably large and I stress about whether I really have what takes to succeed, my friends are there to remind me of my true brilliance and believe in me when I’m struggling to believe in myself.

Friendship is powerful and a little bit magical.

The support and unconditional love of our friends can help us go further and jump higher than we could on our own.

It helps us stay strong and stay true to ourselves and to reach for the things that light us up.

Friendship is what makes the tough times more bearable and the joyful times even more joyful.

And when others believe in you and what you can achieve, the sky is the limit.

Pretty amazing, huh?

So today let’s take a moment to be grateful for our friends.

Because let’s be honest, without our friends our lives would be missing some very special people.
